Google, Yahoo! and many other Search Engines do not like automated queries against their data. They explain it is because it takes up lots of their resources thereby slowing response for their “real” users – and by implication increasing their costs providing more “horse power” to compensate.
The Solution to Automated Queries
Trusted Proxies brings you a solution. By using multiple Proxy Servers in parallel, your Search Engine Ranking software can execute multiple queries simultaneously, without the Search Engine realising those queries are all coming from you!
So you don’t get blocked :-)
And using multiple Parallel Proxies also makes your software now run several magnitudes faster.
And for huge Google Keyword Ranking Reports, or near-instant results for small reports, try the using the revolutionary new Big-G Stealth Extractor, your Search Engine Ranking software can execute multiple queries simultaneously, without the Search Engine realising those queries are all coming from you!
The Historical Problem with Automated Queries
Software that automates queries is also blocked as a security precaution to prevent mass “Denial of Service” attacks that could bring down their servers.
So if you use Search Engine Ranking software, the Search Engine will see a flood of requests coming from the same computer / IP address and will very quickly block you. Not only will your software stop responding, but anyone else on your network (with the same IP address) doing regular searches on Google or the Search Engine will also be blocked.
To get around this, the publishers of Search Engine Ranking software implemented a special mode to run their software in, commonly referred to as "Be Nice to Search Engines" mode" or "Human Emulation Mode" etc.
When the software sends out its queries, it is programmed to insert random length paused between clicking “next” on the SERP pages, and between new queries. The idea is that the Search Engine no longer sees this as automated queries, just very busy humans
As such cases have been heard where the software is still blocked occasionally.
Search Engine Friendly mode is a great work-around for Google Blocks the majority of the time, but even checking a few dozen keywords without proxy servers in this mode will increase your project's run-time from a few minutes to a number of hours -- it's very slow and very frustrating!
